1}Assistant Professor
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100
Qualification:
a) Ph.D Degree with a First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech.*, and experience of 2 years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade;
OR
i) First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech., and experience of 5 years in teaching, research, industry and/or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade; and
ii) Offer of admission for Ph. D degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech., with a requirement to obtain the Ph.D Degree within 7 years* from the date of appointment to the post;

ii) Significant professional work which can be recognized* as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Engg., / Tech., and industrial /professional experience of 5 years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor.
